A.P. World History

This course is generally taken as a sophomore, in place of the World History graduation requirement. Students in Advanced Placement World History should be a dedicated history student, and should have excelled in US History and English 9. Students will learn about prehistory throught the present, having rigorous discussion about the meaning of a world history course. They will focus on the the themes of patterns of interaction, global economics, social structure, and the different functions of a state.
